Living The Palace Life

BIRTHDAY TRIP 153

If there is one thing that I learned from my stay and tour of Palace Resorts, it’s that it’s all in the details.

From the moment we arrived on The Moon Palace resort, we were immediately handed a moist towel. And at each resort we visited, we were given a signature beverage. I realize that may not sound like a big deal, but trust me, it is. This probably goes without saying, but it is extremely hot in Mexico. So hot that if my stay wasn’t so amazing, it would seriously make me reconsider vacationing in another hot country ever again. No lie.

But aside from the beverages, everything we could ever want and more was right at our finger tips. And I am sure the same would be the same for all of their guests from the gorgeous arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries and the complimentary wine in the room. Not to mention the CHI hair and body products. Who doesn’t like a bit of luxuriousness on vacation?

It was also displayed in the service that we received from each and every person that we came in contact with. This is especially true for the three people who organized and assisted in the success of our familiarization trip, better known as a fam trip. My hats go off to them for baring with 15 ocean-obsessed and easily distracted tourists.

They literally thought of every single detail and made the two days we viewed what each resort had to offer, worth the trip. From traveling from ferry to taxis to each resort, to lunch and even special treats such as the tequila tasting, the stop at El Taco down to the much needed spa day.

They even had everything planned down to my birthday, which they didn’t even know about until Thursday night. I am talking VIP sections reserved in a lounge and night club. I don’t even get that in the states. When the clock struck 12:00 a.m., a server was handing us a round of Tequila and the drinks kept coming. It was truly a night to remember and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to view such an amazing resort.

If that is what living the palace life is like, I definitely want more of it.
