Hands up if you’ve ever done a no sugar, no carbs, and *cough, cough,* no fun diet? Me too. And if you’re doing one now, my apologies because I know the struggle is real.
Trust me, that was my life a couple of months ago. I did it for most of the month, but my food cravings were on a 100 by the end of the month. Even worse, everything I avoided day 1 through day 27, I devoured within days. I’m talking pizza, buffalo wings, honey buns, you name it, I ate it.
That’s why I decided NOT to diet this New Year. Instead, I’m going to give into my food cravings with the help of Cello Cheese Snack Packs.
Cello Cheese is a specialty cheesemaker with 75 years of experience. The cheesemaker offers cheese you’re familiar with like Asiago, Parmesan and Romano cheese. There’s also a wide array of rubbed fontal cheese like a Dijon and Herb wedge. Yum! Cello Cheese even offers two snack packs for when you’re on the go and need something to calm your rumbling stomach. The options are:
- Fontal Cheese with Dried Blueberries with Lemon Praline Almonds
- Copper Kettle Cheese with Lemon Ginger Cherries and Praline Pecans
One thing about me is that I love a good sweet and salty combo. I used to think it was weird that I craved something sweet after eating something salty. Or vice versa, but the contrasting flavor profiles just…work. That’s why the Cello Cheese Snack Packs have become my go-to snack.
The first time I ate the fontal cheese snack pack, I cleaned the container with my index finger. Not one crumb of the lemon praline could go to waste on my watch. I’m telling you, there’s something about that hint of citrus. And when you pair it with the creaminess of the semi-hard cheese *chef kiss*.
I haven’t figured it out yet, but there’s something familiar about the copper kettle cheese. Unlike the fontal cheese, it’s a hard cheese that is rich with a subtle tang. It crumbles in your mouth a lot like a nugget of parmesan. And you can’t ever go wrong with oh-so-decadent praline pecans. Call me basic, but praline anything makes me feel like such a southerner and I love it.
I pop a snack pack in my tote bag whenever I need to run errands. They are a healthy snack after a run. They also come in handy for those in-between meals. I am not ashamed to say that I’ve eaten one while cooking dinner.
But if you spend most of your time inside, they are great for winding down after work. I like to grab a snack pack, my speaker, and fill up a tumbler with vino and head to the courtyard for fresh air.
