Prompt: Only pictures
I know this is supposed to be just pics, but a couple words won’t hurt.
Yesterday, while everyone was probably at a cookout, I was in my apartment eating brunch with my family for our monthly family gathering. This was the first time that my siblings, grandparents and one of my aunt’s came up to visit so I really wanted to make a good impression. I thought I had everything in the bag. Everything was strategically planned out. I made homemade cinnamon rolls the night before Woot Woot! It was my first time making them from scratch and it was super easy. I will NOT be spending money on them anymore.
All I had to do was throw the meat and home fries in the oven and cook some Belgium waffles, grits, and eggs. Easy enough. Not! My oven kept going out and when everyone arrived, only the grits and some waffles were fully cooked.
Thankfully, everybody was understanding, hungry, but understanding.
We also sang Happy Birthday to my Pop Pop whose birthday is Wednesday. He is also a veteran.
