There is no long over-written post today. I just wanted to share my good, no, great news with you.
I GOT A JOB! Woot Woot! It’s a customer service position and I begin training today.
When I applied to the position about a month ago, I hoped I would get a call back, but I just didn’t know. I actually didn’t receive a call from the store I applied to near my apartment. Another location called me stating that the store I had applied to was really impressed with my application, but wasn’t sure when they would be able to hire me so they passed my application along. That was a Monday evening and I was so taken back by the turn of events, I was stumbling all over my words.
That Wednesday, I had a phone interview, which I felt very confident that I rocked, but when I didn’t hear back Friday like I was supposed to, I began to second-guess that. I decided to wait a couple of days to see what was going to happen. It was Labor Day weekend after all. I called the following week and was asked to come in on Thursday to retrieve the consent form for a background check and take a drug test.
That was almost two weeks ago and I finally got the call yesterday stating I was hired and I am SUPER excited.
