“It’s All Over The Place” at My First Phillies Game

The Phillies Phanatic was jamming!

The Phillies Phanatic was jamming!

I am not athletic. I don’t watch sports and I don’t even understand the games. It’s just not me.

But I was excited to learn that I was going to get the chance to go to my first Phillies game on Sunday. I knew I was going to be lost, but I wanted to go for the experience of it.

I had it all mapped out. I would go to the earliest church service, come home and pack for my Atlantic City trip, head to the game and then head to Atlantic City after that.

That plan went out the door when I turned off my alarm and slept longer than I intended.

Okay. I missed church, again, but that’s fine. I am just going to focus on getting dressed and finish packing. I picked out this cute peach skirt that I bought from The Gap for $7 on sale. Boom. I grabbed a white camisole and figured I would finish the outfit with some gold accessories and my gold sandals. It works.

As usual, I was running late so I did my hair in the car. I had a couple of fly-aways, but for the most part, it looked cute. A lady who worked at the ball park even stopped me by grabbing my arm to tell me how much she liked it. Thanks.

Now the thing with being natural is, it doesn’t hold up so well in the heat. And guys, I. have. never. been. so. hot. in. my. life. period. I seriously can not believe people willingly put themselves through that torture. The smallest movement made me sweat and it was so gross. My clothes were sticking to me and I literally had to blot myself with tissues to try to get up the sweat. Nasty, I know.

Anyway, someone guzzled all the juice and I began to get extremely parched. When he came back to the seats, I was ready to take a picture with the field or mega-tron in the background. But before he takes it, like a girl, I want to know how I look. Our conversation went like this:

Me: Babe, how does my hair look?

Him: It’s all over the place. That’s how I found our seats. You ready?

Really? After that comment, I have to try to take a cute picture?

Welp, I tried my best guys.

I promise I did my hair before coming to the game. LOL.
